The MH370 Malaysia Airline Mystery Case! (the MH370 and ATC Communication revealed)

Malaysian Arline Flight MH 370

How could such a very huge plane just vanished on the air without any traces? Its been two weeks since the MH370 was reported missing. MH370 carrying 239 passengers on board, but until now, no traces of the plane were found. Lets try to find some clues that may help for this aviation greatest mystery case!

First, lets have some recap on what really happened before the MH370 was reported missing . . .

March 8, 2014
  • 00:41(16:41 GMT) - Flight MH370 of Malaysian Airline departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, it was scheduled to arrive at Beijing with the time of 06:30 (22:30 GMT).
  • 01:07(17:07 GMT) - the last time that the plane send it ACARS (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System).
  • 01:09 - This is when the co-pilot said to the Malaysian ATC (Air Traffic Control) "All right, good night". Then after this incident the plane's transponder was reported turned off.

Lets stop on this details first, since the communication between MH370 and the ATC was recently revealed, I would like to discuss it here if we can find lead or some clarifications that might help this case.

The revealed communication of the ATC and MH370:
If we look carefully, something changed about the flow of there conversations.

At the KL Control Tower the pilot/co-pilot contact the Control Tower, Control Tower assists plane on the runway by sight from the tower. ATC also directed the position of the plane before moving on the runway then gave permission for the take off.

After take off, the plane reached the next ATC, then the plane was instructed to go at the IGARI waypoint (navigational waypoint at midway between Malaysia and Vietnam). It is also clearly stated that the planes current altitude at that moment was 18,000 feet. At the last line, the plane was told that they have left the covered area of the Airport Tower Controller and instructed to change the frequency for the next Malaysian Traffic Controller.

Now, at the Malaysian Traffic Controller, the plane was permitted to ascend to 25,000 feet. At 00:46 the ATC ordered the plane to go up to 35,000 feet. The MH-370 also advised that they reached the permitted altitude, no reply from the ATC. But after 10 minutes, MH-370 advised again that they are currently at 35,000 feet altitude. As the plane approaches Vietnam, the ATC ordered MH-370 to change its frequency for the next ATC - which is the Vietnamese ATC.
If we look very carefully at their conversation, something odd at the last statement replied by the co-pilot.

  • First, the manner or the way he answered , he always replied with the word "MH370" as an recognition tag/purposes. Even the ATC did not replied, they still manage to advised twice.
  • Second, if we look at the time of how long did it takes before MH370 answered the ATC, during the positioning of plane at the runway and during take off, we can see that the pilot takes about 2 minutes before he replied - well I think this is normal because it takes extra effort for the pilot to controlled such a huge plane before and during take off. But when they currently left the port and the plane is in 25,000 feet altitude, there reply only takes a seconds. Even they ascended to 35,000 feet they can still managed to reply within a seconds and they also advised twice. But at 01:08 the ATC called the MH370 and no reply after such a long minutes.  When they approached Vietnam and the ATC tell them that they need to changed their frequency, its the only time time the co-pilot replied with  "ALL RIGHT, GOOD NIGHT".
Based on this conversations/communications, my questions are . . .

It's always the MH370 who always replied faster and always advised about their location. . . .
How could such a skilled person that always used a recognition tag/code changed in a moment?

Could it be possible that the last replied that the ATC received was not the co-pilot nor the pilot?

Conclusion:

If the one who answered the ATC with "ALL RIGHT, GOOD NIGHT" are not the co-pilot nor the pilot, then these will lead us that the MH370 was absolutely hijacked. Maybe at the time 01:08 to 01:19, it is the moment were the co-pilot and the pilot are confronted by the hijackers. Then probably when the hijackers tell this GOODNIGHT , its like how you tell your parents when you were just a child before go to sleep; Goodnight! then turning off the light, but instead turning off the light switch, it's the transponder's switch.

Among the passengers and all the people except on the pilot and co-pilot aboard on MH-370, who has the knowledged about the planes mechanism that even the control switch for the location has been turned off?!

For the next post, we will discuss for the other clues and also for the clues that may lead to the possible location of the MH370.
